Bob Guffey

Bob Guffey, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

He was born on May 11, 1951 in Jamestown, Kentucky to the late William and Rittie (Dykes) Guffey. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings, Ransom Guffey, Mac Guffey, Emily Guffey, and Gheri Guffey.

Bob is survived by his loving children, Billy Guffey, Jr., William (Vicki) Guffey, Bobbie Sue (Terry) McGinnis and Angelisa Marie Guffey, grandchildren, Jennifer (Kevin) Conner, Olivia Kae Guffey, Bethany Dawn Guffey, Shawn (Taylor) Pippin, Anna (Jordan) Settle and Mallory (Coye) Keller, great grandchildren, Aria Conner, Ellie Conner, Jake Conner, Chloe Burton, Ava Manley, Donovan Showalter and Emma Choate, siblings Bennie (Dove) Guffey, Jimmy (Donna) Guffey, Ricky (Mary) Guffey, Daryl (Alisa) Guffey, Gin Mena and Doris (Jack) Hilbert, along with his partner, Lisa Bryson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bob was a devoted family man that spent his life working on cars and taking care of his family. In his free time he enjoyed gambling, hunting and fishing. He leaves behind a legacy of strength and compassion that will be carried on by the ones who loved him most.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions Southwest Louisville Chapel. His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
