Billy Joe Morrison, 60, of Greenville, Indiana passed away on January 2, 2014.
Billy was born on March 27, 1953 in New Albany, Indiana to Kester & Pauline (Eurton) Morrison. He was united in marriage to Karen (Delk) Morrison in 1974 and to this union brought 3 children to bless their home. Billy worked at Riverside Parking at Norton Hospital for over 40 years. He had a deep love & passion for music. Billy started playing stand-up bass for the Louisville Youth Orchestra and went on to a number of other musical groups.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Morrison; children, Kristy Morrison, William Tyler Morrison, & Andrew Morrison (Holley); mother, Pauline Morrison; brothers, Terry Morrison, Dennis Morrison (Dianna), & Jerry Morrison; sister, Cynthia Murphy. Billy is preceded in death by his father, Kester Morrison.
Visitation will be 1 to 6 PM on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home.
