Billy W. Gray, age 67 of Fisherville, Kentucky in Spencer County, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018. He was born in Manchester (Clay County), Kentucky and graduated from Spencer County High School. He retired from General Electric in 2006 after 36 years of service. He was a member of MENSA. He loved wood carving and was a member of the Wood Carvers club. Bill was also an avid fisherman and loved bass fishing. He was well-known for his hand crafted fishing lures. He was preceded in death by his son, John W. Hall; parents, Enoch & Elsie Gray; sister, Ruby Smith; brother, Elihu Gray; and his grandparents, Bam and Gus Gray.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Joyce Kay Meeks Gray; sons, Robb and Bryan (Katie); grandsons, Cody, Kennedy and Jacob; sister, Judy Chesser (Marshall); brother, Russell Gray; sister, Melissa MacAuley; mother-in-law, Mary Kay Meeks; beloved Aunt, Lola Diamond; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Bill's life will start at 2pm with a service at 4pm on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Bryan and Katie's home, 209 Kentucky Court, Mt. Washington, KY 40047.
