Billy Dale Ferguson

Billy "Bill" Dale Ferguson, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022. Bill enjoyed a variety of hobbies which included, knife collecting, coin collecting, photography, auctions, gemology, and collecting watches. Bill graduated in 1960 from Valley High School, and attended Louisville Barber College after graduation. He was a Free Mason and was a member of the Buechel Masonic Lodge 896, Scottish Rite, and was a Kentucky Colonel. Bill retired from Evans Furniture and had his own upholstery business for many years. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was born on November 4, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Ruby (Dennison) Ferguson. He is preceded in death by his father, William Vernon Ferguson and mother, Ruby Radcliffe.

Bill is survived by his companion, Carolyn Williams, daughters, Kimberly (Joe) Thompson, Rebecca Ferguson, and Miki Ferguson, step-son, Darrin Erwin, step-daughter, Jennifer Erwin, grandchildren, Jessica Still, Ryan (Katherine) Kean, Alyssa Kean, Tyler (Taylor) Foote, Jacob Campbell, and Kelsey Erwin, great-grandchildren, Chase Christie, and Briar Foote. Bill also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Friends and Extended Family.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 at the Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). His Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
