Billy Virgil Caudill, 70, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at his home in Memphis, Indiana.
He was born on March 31, 1943 in Blackey, Kentucky to the late Virgil & Renavae (Dixon) Caudill. Billy was a proud veteran of The United States Air Force. He worked for many years at General Electric where he retired in 1998. Billy was united in marriage to Ellen Jane Robertson in June of 1990. He loved spending time with his family and his Dachshund, BJ.
Billy is survived by his loving wife, Ellen; sons, Michael Caudill (Vickie), Jason Caudill, Patrick & Todd Byrum; brothers, Phillip Caudill, Dale Caudill (Betty); grandchildren, Noah, Nathan, Daniel, Hannah, Asher, Matthew, Joseph, Baalu, Henry, & Charlie. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Mary Jean Caudill.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 3 PM to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). A private burial will be held at Walnut Ridge Cemetery at a later date with full military honors being conducted.
