Billy Carl Canty, 75, passed away peacefully at home on Monday night, September 29, 2014 after a long illness. He was born on July 12, 1939 to the late Curtis and Erma Canty. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and a good cup of Waffle House coffee.
He is survived by his wife; Mary Ann (Parker) Canty, children; Crystal (Mario) Caudillo, William (Shannon) Canty, Michael (Amanda) Canty, Brittany (Jon) Williams, brother; Bobby Canty, sister; Shirley Canty and his eleven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 5:00 until the time of service at 7:00 pm. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive Louisville, Kentucky 40243.
The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the team from Hosparus and to Giles, Jimmy, Phil and Eugene for their many acts of kindness.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
