Billie Rae (Wilson) Minter age 74 was called home on April 18, 2014 with her husband Lawrence (Bud) by her side at home. She enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling and being the champ along with spending time with her family. She also retired from GE after 27 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Mattie, son Michael, step-son Perry and 2 brothers.
Billie is survived by her husband, Bud, of 29 years; daughter, Cheryl (Bruce) Harned; 2 sons, Tim (Kim) and Craig (Danyelle) Carlysle; 4 stepchildren, Lauren (Wayne) Dotson, Mike (Missy) Minter, Lisa (Dewey) Aaron, Kenny (Valerie) Minter; 3 sisters, Priscilla Long, Pauline (Mike) French, and Judy Saylor; 1 brother, Paul (Martha) Wilson; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday April 21, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY from 1-8pm. Service will be Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel.
The family expresses their deepest appreciation for all of the service from Hosparus of Louisville.
