Billie Dean Perkins , 84, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020.
Billie loved playing bingo, the outdoors and going for rides. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She was born on October 3, 1935 in Louisville , Kentucky to Booker T and Nettie (Spencer) Perkins . Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Webb and Peggy Wise, and brothers, Jimmy Perkins and Booker O. Perkins.
Billie is survived by her daughters, Helen Perkins Shelton and June (Rick) Perkins Jaggers, grandchildren, Shannon (Shane) Rector, Steven (April) Rector, Jr., Natasha (Kenneth) Aguon, Rebecca (Terry) Williamson, Gary (Brandy) Ballard, great grandchildren , Austin Rector, Jonathon Rector, Dakota Rector, Thomas Rector, Richard Rector, Brayden Rector, Breanna Aguon, Kenneth Aguon, Tessa Aguon, Nick Dizney, Christopher Ellis, Jr., and Marlee Williamson, as well as her great great grandchild , Persephone Lee.
Visitation will be from 12-8pm on Friday, June 26th and Saturday, June 27th from 11-2pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). A service celebrating Billie's life will take place at 2pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
