Billie Carpenter, 80 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on February 23, 2023.
She was born on May 20, 1942 in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Bausley Clayton and Delsie Mae Goode. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John William "Bill" Carpenter; brother, J.R. Goode, and sister, Joanne Pitcock.
Billie is survived by her sons, Dale Carpenter (Kris Ooms), Greg Carpenter, Phil Carpenter; grandchildren, Zachary Carpenter, Dayne Carpenter, Caitlin Carpenter and Carlee Carpenter; and brothers, Donald and Douglas Goode.
Visitation will be from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel. Her funeral service will be held the following day at 11 A.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations in Billie's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
