Bill Skaggs, 83, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on October 22, 2014 with his family by his side.
Bill was born February 3, 1931.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Louise Skaggs; daughter, Lissa Skaggs and her daughter Sarahbeth; son, Butch Skaggs; daughter, Latasha Mendez (Everett) and their children Isabella, Esperanza, and Esmeralda; son, Jack Barton (Carol) and children Robin, Vicki, and Adam; daughter Kathy Barton and her children Jay, Aaron, Jason, and Johnny; and eight great-grandchildren; and around seventy foster-children.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Bill's funeral will be held Monday at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
