Beverly Jean Vest, born on July 14, 1939, in Williamsburg Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 27 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky. Beverly lived a life characterized by her warmth and devotion to family and friends.

For 15 years, she was a cherished member of Bridge Community Church in Clarksville, where her faith played an integral role in her. Known for her caring nature and generous spirit, Beverly touched the hearts of those around her, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.

She is survived by her son, Charles T. Vest, and his wife, Janelle, of Clarksville, Indiana, and her daughter, Rita Vest, of Louisville. Beverly also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her sisters, Debbie Marlene Grasham (husband George) and Margie Thomas, her brother, Greg Perkins, and her best friend, Rita Stayton, all of whom cherished her deeply.

Beverly is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Charles J. Vest, and her parents, Truitt and Pearl Perkins. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Michael, and Richard Perkins, and three sisters, Shirley Bryant, Betty Bowling, and Lula Prewitt.

A visitation will be held in her honor on August 30, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, located at 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY with Pastor Greg Odle officiating. A graveside service will take place on August 31 at 1:00 PM at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, 2421 Hamburg Pike, Jeff, IN. Pallbearers will be George Grasham, Rodney, Steve, Lee and Dale Prewitt, Shannon Bryant, Sean Neville and Bobbie Whittaker. Scripture reading by Amanda Grasham.

Beverly will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on through the lives she influenced and inspired.
