Beverly Funk Duggins

Beverly Funk Duggins, 83, of Louisville, KY stepped into her eternal home on July 1, 2023.

Beverly gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ as a child while growing up at Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church, Campbellsville, KY. She lived her life by faith in Jesus. She prayed faithfully for family and others that God's will be done. Beverly loved God and the church. She was a member of Westport Road Baptist Church, Louisville KY for more than 50 years. Her life and walk with the Lord was an example for many.

Beverly was married to Nathan Funk for 27 years until he went to his heavenly home.
The Lord gave her James L. Duggins a year later and they were married for 27 years until he went to his home with Jesus. She was blessed that both were godly men who loved Jesus.

Nathan and Beverly had two children, Alan Funk (Marcie) and Gail Henderman who survive her; she is also survived by her grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, Kelly, Michael, and Christina; her sisters, Phyllis Phillips and Darlene Gilpin; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 10 am until the service time at 11 am on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Westport Road Baptist Church (9705 Westport Road, Louisville, KY). Burial will follow at Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church in Campbellsville, Kentucky.

Donations in Beverly's memory may be made to the Missions Fund of Westport Road Baptist Church.
