Betty Jean Wolfe, 80, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022. Betty was an avid reader who loved dogs and sunbathing when the weather allowed.

She was born on May 6, 1942, in New Albany, Indiana, to Charles and Lois (Schmitt) Wolfe. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Everett Wolfe; and mother, Lois Jean Wolfe.

Betty is survived by her loving sister, Flora Dian (Lawrence) Jacobi; brother, Charles Walter (Carolyn) Wolfe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2022, and will continue on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.

The family requests that contributions in Betty's memory be made to St. Mary of the Knobs (5719 St. Mary's Road, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119).
