Betty Wheeler

Betty Wheeler, 68, of Louisville, KY passed away on February 20, 2014. Betty was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and sister. She loved to cook and was a dedicated homemaker and hard worker. Betty was a long time employee of Armor Elevator, and also worked at Marley Company and Graphic Packaging.

Betty was born on March 5, 1945, in Louisville to the late Bailey and Annie (Bivins) Harrison. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gartine Harrison, sister, Bernice Klingel, brother, Bailey Benjamin "Bob" Harrison Jr., sister, Bonnie Gayhart, brother, Carlton Gene "Jack" Harrison, sister, Nancy Landis, and brother, Bryan Bivin "Bill" Harrison.

Betty is survived by her husband of 33 years, John Wheeler; son, Gary Hurst; and sister, Glenda Rhea Gayhart.

Visitation will be held from 3pm to 8pm, Monday, February 24, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Funeral services will be 10am, Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
