Betty A. Sadofsky, 78, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
She was born on September 13, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Harry Riesenberg and Betty (Stone) Collett. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Parker; and brothers, Joe and Clyde Riesenberg.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, Michael Sadofsky; daughters, Debbie (Rod) Olsen and Tammy (Douglas, Sr.) Toland; grandchildren, Candice (Mike) McGourin, Josh Clemons, Elizabeth (JJ) Phillips, Douglas (Aimee) Toland, Jr., Erin (Chad) Allen, and Avarey Toland; and great-grandchildren, Mia, Molly, Bradie, Linden, Rowan, Lillie, Samuel, Clara, Genevive, JoJo, Juliette, and Cannon.
Cremation was chosen following Betty's wishes, and a Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the Carriage House at the Howard Steamboat Museum (1101 E Market Street, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Baptist Health Foundation Floyd. Checks may be made out to the Baptist Health Foundation Floyd and sent to 1850 State Street, New Albany, IN 47150. In the memo line, please indicate the gift is in memory of Betty Sadofsky.
