Betty Preston

Betty Preston, 55, passed away on September 6, 2021 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born September 27, 1965, in Bloomfield, KY, to the late Harold Curtsinger, Jr and Edith Pearl Hefley. Betty was very out spoken person, a loving and caring person who would give her shirt off her back to anyone in need. She loved her kids and grandkids, loved going to the BINGO hall and going to the casino. Betty couldn't go a day without playing the pick 3, pick 4 and scratch offs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Hellem Lee Burkhead; sister, Gwen Curtsinger and son-in-law, Larry Hart,

Betty leaves to cherish her fiancé, Terry Clarkson; best friend, Mikey Preston; daughters, Meredith
Hart, Melissa (Joey) Hicks and Tiffany (David Durham and her son, David Durham, Jr); son, Josh Preston; grandchildren, Akima, Anika, Michael, Jr, William, Daiden, Meryssa, Bella, Myrik and Meleah; great-grandson, Kingston; brothers, James (Sue) Burkhead, Donnie Burkhead, Jerry (Tammy) Burkhead, Danny (Anna) Burkhead and Shane (Jennifer) Curtsinger; sisters, Linda (Bluford) Chesser, Lois (Mike) Hedges and JoAnne (Chris) Perkins; 13 nieces and 5 nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 3pm-8pm with a celebration of Betty's life beginning at 6pm.
