Betty Nix

Betty Nix, 86, of Valley Station, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. She was born on September 18, 1937 in Marion, Kentucky to Audus and Melba (Walker) Belt.

Betty enjoyed sewing, traveling throughout the US with her husband and daughter, spending time with her grandchild, and watching basketball (she always loved March Madness and the Cinderella teams)

She is preceded in death by her mother, Melba Mae Belt, father, Audus Raymond Belt, and brother, Billy Belt.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Thomas Nix, Children; Kevin (Jennifer) Nix, Larry (Ruth Garvey-Nix) Nix, and Lynette Nix; Sister-In-Law, Emma Lois Belt; Sister, Marilyn Sue (Norris Shake) Shake; grandson, Keegan Thomas Nix and many loving nieces and nephews.

She will be miss immensely by family and friends.

The family requests that instead of flowers donations be made to Hosparus of Louisville Ky, or to the American Diabetes Association.
