Betty Mcrae

Betty Ellen McRae, 85, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Betty enjoyed her memberships in the Red Hat Society, the American Legion Auxiliary, and Parents Without Partners (PWP).

She was born on August 24, 1937, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Benton Beck and Opal Mae (Santee) Beck. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Michael Parrish.

Betty is survived by her sons, Jeffery Parrish, David (Debbie) Parrish, and William (Annette) Parrish; grandchildren, Jessica (Patrick) Sellers, Christopher David Parrish, Zachary Parrish, and Vanessa (Alex) Parrish; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
