Betty Lois "Ms Betty" Crusott Akins, 62, passed away on November 5, 2014. She enjoyed camping and watching her grandsons playing little league.
She is preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Crusott and son, James Lee Church.
She is survived by her husband, David Akins; children, Joseph Sylvester (Jennifer Smith) Church Jr. of Radcliff,KY, James Samuel (Kimberly Church) Church of Radcliff, KY and Steven Wayne Church of Louisville, KY; grand-daughters, Brittney, Destiney, Georgia, Emileigh, Gracelyn; grand-sons, Dakota, Cherokee, Carson, Bryan, Chase, Seth, Timothy Joseph and Jaxon; great-grand daugher, Scarlet; siblings, Marion Lee Crusott of Lexington, Dennis Wayne Crusott of Louisville, KY, Mary Joyce Vitt, of Louisville, KY and Jonetta Crusott of Louisville,KY; sister-in-laws, Trish (Tom) Renfro of Louisville, KY, Sherrie (Steve) Johnson of Louisville, KY and Carrie (Loretta) Dawson of Louisville, KY; 12 nieces, 7 nephews, 14 great nieces, 12 nephews, 5 great-great nieces and 2 great-great nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway) from 12pm-6pm and Monday, November 10, 2014 from 9am to 2pm with services beginning at 2pm.
