Betty Jo (Tomlinson) Kelly, 61, of Charlestown, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014.
Betty was born on October 16, 1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her parents were the late Paul & Ellen (Gallagher) Tomlinson. From a young age, Betty enjoyed being involved with 4-H in Hendricks County, Indiana which led to her love for horseback riding and owning miniature horses.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Kathy Perdue; son, Sam Perdue (Krista); 4 step-children; siblings, Phyllis Haack; Jim Tomlinson, Effie Walls (Jim), Pauline Fisher; sister-in-law, Joyce Tomlinson; granddaughter, Holly Perdue; & 5 step-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Kelly; former husband, Buck Perdue; brother, Omer Tomlinson; sister, Rosalie Wilborn.
A Memorial Visitation will be from 2 to 3 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Memorial Service will be at 3 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following Betty's wishes.
