Betty Jean Cornelius

Betty Jean (Breeden) Cornelius, 85, went to be with the Lord, on August 26, 2014. She was born August 4, 1929, to the late Ellis and Naomi (Poteet) Breeden, in Louisville, KY. Betty was out-going, unselfish, and a loving mother and wife of 65 years to her late husband, Kingsford. She was a retired Jefferson Co. school bus driver. She attended Gospel Assembly Church, Gospel Kingdom, Shepherdsville Gospel Chapel and Open Door Assembly Church in Elizabethtown, KY.

Her survivors are her six children, Shelia (Walter) Adcock, Linda (Chris) Urbano, Ron (Dianne) Cornelius, Becky (Craig) Mulligan, Pam (Rick) Goff and Michael (Laura) Cornelius; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2pm-8pm, Friday, August 29, 2014 at newcomer Funeral home- Southwest Louisville Chapel. The funeral service will be Saturday, August 30, at 11:30am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens East, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, KY.
