Finch, Betty Jane, 85, of Brandenburg, Kentucky passed away on August 15, 2014. She worked at the Kentucky State Fair for 35 years as Superintendent for the Tropical Fish Exhibit.
Betty Jane was born on February 26, 1929, in Mount Sterling, Kentucky to the late Raymond T. Caswell, Sr. and Elizabeth Henry Stevenson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alan William Finch; son, Arnold Carpenter, Jr.; and great-grandson, Cameron Mixon.
Betty is survived by her children, Mark Wells (Tammy), Bonnie Grigsby (Doug), Donnie Wells, Teresa Parks, Margie Carpenter-Gray; one brother, Raymond T. Caswell Jr. (Jeanette); and several loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A Funeral Ceremony to celebrate the life of Betty Jane will be held Sunday at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Cap Anderson Cemetery in Brandenburg, KY.
