Betty Harris, 73, of Clarksville, IN passed away on February 8, 2014. Betty was a beautiful and caring person who was accepting of all.
Betty was born on August 15, 1940, in Cleveland, OH to the late July and Elizabeth (Clark) Padgett. Betty was also preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Padgett.
Betty is survived by her sons, Maurice Harris, Douwon D. Harris, and Ricardo L. Harris; daughters, Michelle D. King, Dalphine Harris, and Shamel F. Roberts; sisters, Evelyn Tufts, Rose Padgett, Yvonne Padgett; and Annie Ruth Padgett; brothers, Robert Bay Padgett, Jesse Padgett, and Stanley Padgett, and former husband, Melvin Harris.
Funeral Ceremony will be held Wednesday at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272) with visitation from 2:00 pm until time of service.
