Betty Eisner Diersing

November 28, 1927 — November 19, 2014

Betty Eisner Diersing, 86, passed away on November 19, 2014. She was retired from Coca-Cola, volunteered at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Auxiliary, member of Garrs Lane UMC, the Red Hat Society and was an avid UK basketball fan.

Betty is survived by her husband, Elmer Diersing; children, Karen (Joe) Halterman, Jeff (Ann) Eisner and Paula (Bob) Heuglin; grandchildren, Misty, Jeff, Kelly and Kari; great-grandchildren, Adalynn and others; sisters, Alberta Downs and Shirley Maxfield and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2014, from 2pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of Life for Betty will be Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home at 10am.

Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, KY

In lieu of flowers the family would like expressions of sympathy be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, 2301 Hurstbourne Village Dr #700, Louisville, KY 40299.
