Betty Jean (Wetzelberger) Eberle, 91, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Betty enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her family by cooking, baking, and cleaning.
She was born on May 29, 1930, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Lewis and Bessie (Snipp) Wetzelberger. Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Eberle; and sister, Louise Strother.
Betty is survived by her children, Joseph Raymond (Jenny) Dugan, Jr., Rickey (Rita) Dugan, Robin (Frank) Jasgarszewski, Stacy Baker, and Amy Schocke; grandchildren, Jack (Angela) Dugan, Derek (Amanda) Dugan, Jeff (Stacey) Dugan, Angela (Steve, Sr.) Becker, Michael Dugan, Liz (Larissa) Bixby, Carrie (Thomas) Cheatham, and Justin (Jessica) Baker; great-grandchildren, Stevie Becker, Jr., Brandon Becker, Dolan Dugan, Noella Dugan, Webber Dugan, Addie Dugan, Maxwell Dugan, Jordan Porter, Kegan Porter, Reece Porter, Taylor Baker, Rylee Baker, Bristol Dehn, and Cheyenne Dehn.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest privately at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, Kentucky, at a later date.
The family requests that contributions in Betty 's memory be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV - Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301).
