Betty Ann Buechele, 74, of Crestwood, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
She was born on May 10, 1947 in Lexington, Kentucky to Grover and Margaret (Simpson) Columbia. Betty was very proud to have been the pastry chef for Lynn's Paradise Cafe in Louisville. She also was a cook at Lainey's Latte Cafe in Crestwood.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Grover Cleveland and Margaret Cecil Columbia; and her brother, Grover Cleveland Columbia, Jr.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Kevin) Buechele Reardon; son, Randy Lee Buechele; daughter, Kelly Buechele Ross; daughter, Whitney (John) Blair Dingeman; son, Chad (Renee) Buechele; grandchildren, Brooke Piper, Clayton Reardon, Jacob Buechele, Colton Buechele, Cody Buechele, Sierra Alden, Shianne Dingeman, Megan Walton, Morgan Walton, and Josh Walton; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Sandy (Victor) Hayden; brother, Phillip (Cherie) Columbia; sister, Deborah Columbia; brother, Terry Columbia; sister, Barbara (Nathan) Louden; and numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Dr.).
The family requests that contributions in Betty's memory be made to WHAS Crusade for Children.
