Betty Jo (Robinson) Bishop, 76, of Clarksville passed away on October 9, 2012 at Mercy-Providence Retirement Home in New Albany.
Betty was born on December 18, 1935 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late William Campbell and Ruth A. (Patton) Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her son, Trent Bishop; brothers, Bill and Mike Robinson; and sister, Debbie Bedrick.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammi Jerdonek (Ed) of Floyds Knobs, IN and Jennifer McAlpine (Rex) of Clarksville, IN; grandchildren, Amy, Ryan, and Jill Gettelfinger and Lauren and Andrew Jerdonek; siblings, Fonnie Hissong of Lafayette, TN, Robert Robinson (Shirley) of Taylor, MI, Pat Robinson of Bloomfield, MI, Sandra Robinson of Clarksville, IN, Sabrina Montour (Bob) of Woodhaven, MI, and Vicki Keating of Clarksville, IN; brother-in-law, Jon Bedrick of Southgate, MI; and nieces and nephews, Jeff Wilson, Vonda Hardman, Ron Robinson, Cheryl Robinson, William Robinson, Richard Robinson, Michael Bedrick, Jordan Bedrick, Kristen Montour, James Montour, Kelly McCarthy, and Brandon McCarthy; and her loving canine companion, Isabel.
There will be a private memorial service. Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) is in charge of the arrangements.
