Betty Ann(Wolfe) Standiford

Betty A. (Wolfe) Standiford, 54, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013. She was an active member of Sunnyside Assembly of God in Jeffersonville. Betty would move Heaven and Earth for her family and her grandchildren were the world to her. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and cherished friend.

Betty was born on October 14, 1958 in Shelbyville, Indiana to Anna M. (Shuping) Wolfe and the late Harold Wolfe. She was also preceded in death by her brother, David R. Wolfe.

Along with her mother, Betty is survived by her husband of 32 years, Kevin R. Standiford; children, Michael D. Standiford, Faith J. Priddy (Brandon); sisters, Lena Boiling, Brenda Clark (Ronald), Linda Wolfe, Debbie Miller (Phillip), Mary Wolfe, Bobbie Turner (Steve); adoptive mother, Carolyn Kelly; aunt, JoAnn Lay; grandchildren, Chelsea Fountain, Abigail, Jacob, Mason Standiford, Caitlin, Logan Priddy; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Betty's wishes.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Phyllis Eden, Davorah Borman-Miller, Terri Hartman, Marci and April Calloway, and the Kroger Co. for their love and care of Ms. Betty. Memorial contributions can be made to the Floyd Memorial Cancer Care Center.
