Bettie Jo "Granny" Taylor, 85, of Simpsonville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023.
Bettie was the devoted mother of three children Patricia Yancey, Vincent Taylor and Denise Aispuro, the loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren, Angel Gill, Michael Yancey, Crystal Yancey, Veronica Yancey, Derrick Taylor, Paco Aispuro, Amando Aispuro, Krystin Taylor, Amanda Thomas, Jeanette Aispuro and Joseph Aispuro, also 14 great grandchildren Aidan Gill, Keely Mattox, Cameron McKinney, Landon McKinney, Gabriel Yancey, Finn Yancey, Ella Yancey, Elizabeth Aispuro, Isaiah Taylor, Paul Taylor, Gavin Thomas, Dakota Thomas, Elijah Thomas and Cooper Henderson.
She was also survived by her loving sister Norvaleen Northern who is the last of the remaining 15 siblings, her very special friend and companion of 50 years, James Dunn Jr., her many nieces and nephews, Debbie Villela, Teresa Foster, Ernie Northern, Trinity Woodcum, Sheila Nelson, Scott Agee and many more. Her friend, Sis Evans and Hazel Mobley, whom she always looked to for spiritual guidance and advice.
She was a devoted member of Whitehall Holiness Church where she attended for over 47 years. She considered them as her extended family and loved them all.
A Celebration of Bettie's life will be on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 12:00pm/Noon at Whitehall Holiness Church (3561 Colonel Road, Richmond, KY 40475).
