Bertha Lou Gilpin Anderson ,74, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on May 19, 2014.
Bertha was born on June 6, 1939 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to the late William & Mary (Barnes) Gilpin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Carl Anderson and sister, Florence Ellen Gilpin-Newton.
Bertha is survived by her daughter, Mary Anderson-Hardy (Clint); grandchildren, Pamela Mae Catherine Wallace, and Anthony Joe Wallace Jr.; siblings, Nellie Schmidt, Roy Thomas Gilpin, George Cecil Gilpin (Darlene), Frances Sue Bradley, Susie Roberts and several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00pm-8:00pm Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway Louisville, Ky) and Friday, May 23, 2014 from 9:00am-10:00am at the funeral home. A Funeral Ceremony will be held Friday at 10:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens-West.
