Bernard "Bernie" Humphrey, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022.
He was born on April 26, 1944 in Shelbyville, Kentucky to the late Lindsey and Aileen (Hockersmith) Humphrey. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, James "Lonnie" Alonzo Humphrey and David Allen Humphrey.
Bernie is survived by his sisters, Vickie Angeline Basham, Linda Mae Humphrey and cousins, Lyndon and Carolyn Weakley, Doris Dempsey, Buddy and Karen Hockersmith and Jerome Hockersmith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow at Middletown Historical Cemetery.
