Bernice Minter Morrow

Born March 5, 1927 to Manuel and Louise Minter, in Cascilla Mississippi. She was the youngest of ten children, nine of whom preceded her in death. She departed this life on the afternoon of December 13, 2023 at 1:15 PM.

She accepted Christ at an early age. Moved to Louisville, met and united in Holy Matrimony to Browder L. Morrow, who preceded her in death. Bernice was a mother to 5 children. Jerry and Michael Delane Morrow preceded her in death. She is survived by 3 daughters Alice Faye Jordan, Shannon Jeanette Morrow, and Karen Denise Smalls.

She leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, 7 grandchildren – Karen Collins, Kenneth Jordan, Carla Davis, Christian Davis, Delane Morrow, Dana Morrow, and Mikkie Morrow, great-grandchildren along with Z'ane Davis-Smith her great-granddaughter preceding her in death, and great-great grandchildren.

She was very active member of West Chestnut Street Baptist Church where she served on the usher board for more than 30 years until her health prohibited. Bernice loved to play bingo, garden, and socialize. There's not an animal she didn't love, but her favorite was her dog Spunky
