Bernard (Junie) Schroder, 75, of Clarksville, Indiana peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father on May 15, 2013.
Junie was born May 26, 1937 in Floyds Knobs, Indiana to the late Bernard J. & Lillian (Fenwick) Schroder. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville for 48 years. Junie was a devoted husband, dad, and grandpa with many talents.
Junie is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lynda Ann (Weber) Schroder; 2 daughters, Lill Kelly (Rick McMichael), Renee Richardson (Shóne); son, Kevin Schroder (Dorene); 4 grandchildren, Shelby, Kailey, Norah, & Wilson; brothers, Jim Schroder (Kelly), Mark Schroder (Mary); sister, Angela Hayes (Tom). Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his mother, Mary C. (Zimmerman) Schroder; brother, Dale Schroder; sister, Donna Schroder.
Visitation will be from 12 PM to 8 PM Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln., New Albany). His Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 10 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (316 N. Sherwood Avenue, Clarksville, IN) with burial to follow at St. Joe Hill Catholic Cemetery.
