Benjamin Franklin Mcadams, Jr.

Benjamin Franklin McAdams, Jr., age 86 of Simpsonville, formerly of Shepherdsville and Elizabethtown, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012. He was a WWII Army Veteran, a member of the Simpsonville Baptist Church, former member of First Baptist Church of Shepherdsville, member of Gideons International, was a Kentucky Colonel, and was a farmer. He was preceded in death by the love of his life Pauline, and his parents, Benjamin and Anna May Kurtz McAdams.

Ben is survived by his loving children, Steven F. McAdams (Laurie) of Arcadia Valley, MO. and Karen Pauline Waller (Paul) of Simpsonsville; 4 grandchildren, Morgan, Grant, Ross and DaniLynn McAdams. Also surviving are a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial in Brookland Cemetery in Bullitt County, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Gideons.
