Barbara Jean Staub, 80, of La Grange, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
She was born on November 29, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Henry and Virginia (Cundiff) Bratcher . Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Gary Lee Staub, son, Michael E. Staub, and her daughter, Renee L. Staub.
Barbara is survived by her loving sons, John (Ronda) Staub and Eric (Eileen) Staub, grandchildren, Gary (Cheryl ) Staub, Amber (Thomas) Sipes, Steven (Dorothy) Staub and Jordan (Josh) Burt along with 9 great grandchildren.
Barbara was an loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed listening to Elvis, gardening, cooking and baking. Barbara was a very talented painter and crafter. She was an avid UK fan and will always be remembered for how much she loved the holidays. Barbara will be truly missed and loved by many; especially her family.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 27th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
The family requests that contributions in Barbara 's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
