Barbara Ann (Mahoney) Pervis

Barbara Ann (Mahoney) Pervis, 84, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. She retired after a long and successful career in nursing. Barbara was a woman of deep faith and a member of the Church of God in Elizabeth. She enjoyed nature, was an avid reader and also an animal lover.

She was born on February 16, 1940 to William and Edna (Keith) Mahoney. Barbara is survived by her children, James Veirs (Lisa), Kim Williams (Russell), Shawn Martin (Joette), Stan Veirs (Missy), Nathan Miller; sister, Carolyn Crighton (Terry); 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Big Spring Cemetery in New Pekin, Indiana.

Contributions in Barbara's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
