Barbara Jean Martin

Barbara Jean Martin, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. Barbara was a retired mental health tech at Communicare in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and formerly was a children's counselor at Glendale Baptist Children's Home.

She was born on November 9, 1950 in Louisville , Kentucky to Robert and Nellie Mae (Paris) Graham. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Foley; and a brother, Jams R. Graham.

Barbara is survived by a brother, Paul F. Graham; and her four children, Cindy (Glenn) Smith, Tina Martin, Carrie Martin, and Jeff Martin; grandchildren, Richard, Aaron, Tonya, Jennifer, Michael (Anjel), Preston, Brooklyn, Brianna, Nevaeh, Frankie, Keith (Kira), Chris, Mercedes (Matthew), Zoey, Mark (Alison), Tiphany (Josh), Braden, Maranda, Shayna (Jeremy), Dillon, and Allisson; 26 great-grandchildren; and may friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
