Barbara Ruth Lewis

Barbara Ruth Lewis, 75, of Harned, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Barbara was a woman of great faith and a soul winner. She loved to write poems and was a great cook. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also had a great sense of humor.

She was born on June 19, 1947 in Corte Madera, California to Charles and Ruth (Price) Churchwell. She is preceded in death by her Father, Charles Churchwell, Mother, Ruth Churchwell, Sister, Linda Cornelius, and Brother, John Wright.

Barbara is survived by her loving Husband of 27 years, Tony R. Lewis; Children, Melissa (Barry) Coomer, Joshua Keown, Tony Clifford Lewis, Lacey Lee Lewis, and Deanna Boubaris; 12 Grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Apostolic Lighthouse Church, (4602 Summitt Dr. Louisville, KY 40229). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 12:00 pm on Thursday, at Apostolic Lighthouse Church with burial to follow at Louisville Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Barbara's memory be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
