Barbara Lynn Jones

Barbara Lynn Jones, 73, passed away on January 18, 2024. She was a faithful and loyal servant of God. Barbara enjoyed cooking, boating, fishing and car races. One of her greatest passions was watching and feeding the hummingbirds. Barbara had a beautiful soul and gentle spirit. She will be truly missed and will forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Wallace; father, Joseph Ferguson and step-father, Raymond Wallace.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memories her husband Jay Jones; daughter, Lori (Gene) Carmon; son, Troy (Missy) Kaiser; step children, James Jones, Jr., Jennifer Rebecca Springer and Christopher Michael Jones; grandchildren, Hunter, Kylee, Gavin, Trevor, Aiden, Stevie and Ricky; 4 great-grandchildren and her siblings, Debbie Gesner, Bonnie Allison, Terry Ferguson, Michael Ferguson, Billy Doyle, Kathy Jackson.

Visitation will be Monday, January 29, 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 2pm-8pm and Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 9am-1pm with a celebration of Barbara's life beginning at 1pm.

Barbara will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens, 279 Landis Lane, Mt. Washington, KY.
