Barbara A. Hockman, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, g-ma, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is very passionate about her family, church & Bible study group, and McDonalds Crew with a Diet Coke.
She was born on September 30, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to Herbert and Roberta (Humphrey) Brown. She is preceded in death by her Father, Herbert Brown, Mother, Roberta Brown, Husband, Dennis Wayne Hockman, Siblings, Nancy Hall and Betty Heun.
Barbara is survived by her loving family, Sons, Kevin R. (Teresa) Hockman and Timothy A. (Gena) Hockman; Grandchildren, Kristi (Derek) Mattingly, Brian (Holly) Hockman, Aaron Hockman, and Josie (Anissa) Hockman; Great-Grandchildren, Noah Hockman, Lily Hockman, Emma Mattingly, and Myles Mattingly; Brother, Willard (Wanda) Brown, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Cap Anderson Cemetery in Brandenburg, Kentucky.
