Barbara Ann Ellis was born April 29, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to Rosa Lee Ellis (deceased) ad Walter J. Wilson (deceased).
Barbara attended Jefferson County Public Schools and a 1978 graduate from Central High School. Barbara loved life, family and friends. Her coworkers was her second family. If you were ever in need of something and she had it, you had it. She worked various jobs, her favorite was the Galt House Hotel from 2004 until she fell ill in 2021, even though she was ill, she still felt she had to get up and go to work.
Barbara leaves to cherish her memories with her children LaKisha Ellis, Eric Ellis, and Curdell Ellis; grandchildren, GaBriel Armes, Jordon Armes, Keissean and Cryselle Graves, Kavion Burrell, Cameron Ellis, and Jazmine Ellis; siblings Rose Wilson, Elizabeth, Carolyn, and Brenda Ellis, Lora Sherrell (deceased), William Ellis (deceased), Lawrence Ellis, and Eugene Ellis, a host of nephews, nieces, and family.
During her illness she wanted to be baptized again because she said she needed to be reborn again and live life like it was her last and she did. She always had a smile no matter what life threw her way, good or bad she never had anything negative to say.
Take your rest dear one until we meet again.
