Barbara Ellis

Barbara Frances Hollerbach "Barb" Ellis, 59, of Jeffersonville passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011. Barb was born December 12, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was united in marriage on September 12, 1992 to George Ellis. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Jeffersonville. Barb enjoyed crafts, quilting and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Hollerbach, her one son, Steven Ellis, and Frances White Hollerbach.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, George Ellis; daughters, Katie Huggins (Jason), and Lisa McElwain (Bob); sister, Linda Hornada (Amy); grandchildren, Jaelynn Huggins, Corey McElwain & Nikki Barkemeyer; great-grandchildren, Peyton McElwain, and Devin & Darren Mathis; and was anxiously awaiting the birth of her fourth grandchild.

A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 5 at the First Christian Church of Jeffersonville (3209 Middle Road, Jeffersonville, IN) officiated by Rev. Beverly Brock & Rev. Amanda Wagoner with a reception immediately following at the church.
