Barbara Ann Duncan

Barbara Ann Duncan passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 72. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was born to Jack and Elizabeth Thurman of Fairdale, KY on June 29, 1950. After graduating high school, she went on to pursue an administrative career that led to her eventual profession as a Grant Writer. She loved her career in non-profit and was passionate about raising money for environmental causes and education. Barbara loved her family and enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up. She was a deeply spiritual person and found much comfort in prayer.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Smith (Debi) and Lauren Duncan, grandchildren Eliza and Hunter (Lauren), brother James Thurman (Denise), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
