Barbara Carol (Pfeffer) Rainbolt, 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany.
Barbara was born on February 3, 1942 in Floyd County, Indiana to the late Robert J. and LaVerne (Rudolph) Pfeffer. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Paul Rainbolt; children, Chris Rainbolt (Barbra), Susan Jeffries (Kendell), Mark Rainbolt (Shaunna Graf), Beth Roberts; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church (129 West Daisy Lane, New Albany) with burial to follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.
Memorial contributions may be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children (520 W. Chestnut Street, Louisville, KY 40202).
