Barbara Jean Burgin

Burgin, Barbara Jean, 84, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023. Born November 18, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Travis and Evelyn Summers Travis.
She retired from Kroger, where she worked for over 40 years.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Paul E. Burgin, Jr.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Gregory Burgin; two sisters, Deborah Spears and Lynda Carolyn Wilson (Allen); Five Grandchildren, Paul E. Burgin III, Mary Catherine 'Kate' Burgin, Johnathon Burgin, Gregory Burgin Jr. and Amber Burgin; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, July 21, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243). Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213.
