Barbara Ann Knoerr, 68 passed away April 9, 2011. The former Barbara Dotson worked various jobs over the years including General Electric and Caesars Casino. Her passion was family. Her titles include wife, mother,
sister, aunt, Nana and Grandma Barbara.
Mrs. Knoerr was preceded in death by her parents Buck and Elsie Mae Dotson, sister Bonnie Clifford and infant daughter Brenda.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband of 49 years,John "JacK" Knoerr; daughter, Tammy Churchill (Glen),sons, Allen Knoerr (Connie) and Jeff Knoerr; brothers,Sherman Dotson (Joyce) and Phillip Bentley; grandchildren Kevin, Chris, Danielle, Madyson and Aubrey; 8 great grandchildren with one more on the way, many nieces and nephews and her life long best friend, Pat Miller.
Mass of Celebration will be 11 AM Tuesday at St Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church, 1816 Rangeland Road with burial in Fairmont Cemetery in Fern Creek. Visitation 1-7PM Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive.
