Barbara Dean Wright, 83, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021. Barbara was a member of the Happy Homemakers of English, Indiana and loved the companionship of her dogs and horses. She loved being around children and spending time with them. Barbara was a proud housewife and enjoyed caring for her family, especially her two sons and her late husband, Herbert. She enjoyed being outside in her yard amongst her flowers and was known for always having a vase of fresh-cut flowers on the table.

She was born on October 7, 1937 in Louisville, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Wright; and siblings, Johnny, Alvin "Junie", and Betty.

Barbara is survived by her loving sons, Mark (Paula) Wright and Timothy (Vickie) Wright; grandchildren, Mitch (Amber) Wright, Bradley (Katie) Wright, Andrew (Apoorva) Wright, and Ashley (Curtis) Wright; great-grandchildren, Blake Wright, Mylee Wright, and Charlotte Wright; and sister-in-law, Beverly Baxley.

Visitation and Services will be held privately. She will be laid to rest in the Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Barbara's memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
