Ava Horton

Ava Horton, age 86 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Ava was born on April 3, 1926 in Hart County, KY to the late Wheeler and Emma Horton. Ava was a longtime member of Victory Baptist Church in Louisville and spent 7 years going to Adult Day Care. She spent the last 37 years living with her loving niece, Barbara Chance.

In addition to her parents, Ava is preceded in death by her siblings, Jesse Horton, Frank Horton, Hillard Horton, Melvin Horton, and Irene Horton Boswell.

Ava is survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4PM to 7PM Eastern Time on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY. Funeral will be 10AM Eastern Time Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be at 12PM Central Time at Center Point Church Cemetery in Munfordville, KY.
