Audrey M. (Raisor) Clayton, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on July 30, 2012. A selfless person, Audrey was always concerned about others. She enjoyed shopping and especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Audrey was born on April 5, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Thelma (Richmond) Raisor. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William H. Clayton; brother, James Raisor; and infant twin sons, Anthony and Joseph McHolland.
She is survived by her children, Donna Smith (Jimmie), Rhonda Arnold (Beth Mink), Kathy Casey (John), Andrea Clan (Lonnie), and Tanya Clayton (Bert Williams, Jr.); brother, Mickey Raisor (Kathy); sister-in-law, Beverly Raisor; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 PM on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 4 PM on Friday at the funeral home with cremation to follow. Burial will take place at New Albany National Cemetery at a later date.
