Aubrey Smith, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022.
He was born on October 25, 1938 in Princeton, Kentucky to Houston Smith and Norma (Williams) Ray. He is preceded in death by his Father, Houston Smith, Mother, Norma Ray, Grandson, Aubrey M. Smith, Sister, Brenda Ray, and Brother-In-Law, Gene Dooley.
Aubrey is survived by his loving Wife of 62 years, Tipnice B. Smith; Children, Aubrey E. (Gail) Smith, Jr., Michele S. (Kenneth) White, and Deborah Y. Smith; Grandchildren, Dementrius E. Ellery, Vonetta Breckinridge, Jardin R. Smith, Alycia M. Ware, Aaron M. Ware, and Myles J. White; Siblings, Dawn Smith and Rudy Smith; Sister-In-Law, Christine Dooley, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 12:30 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Aubrey's memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
